We first learned about Tom when we sold a house in Lawrence about 10 years ago. He represented the buyer – and did a good job from the buyer’s perspective – and we wished we had gotten him as our seller! So – when we returned to Lawrence, we immediately thought to contact Tom. We made the cold contact, hoped he’d remembered one of his former clients buying our house, and hoped he would have the time to take us on, sight unseen. He did, and we were very happy about that. We were driving in from 3 hours away and had identified homes – and Tom arranged everything for us to see all the properties we wanted to view over about 1.5 days, and we needed to find something because we had just put our home under contract and had a date to be out. The things we commend Tom for are: 1) his rapid responses to our questions and contacts both by email and phone. 2) He is non-judgmental about our choices; we think that even though he knew we would find a property not to our liking, he always showed us. 3) He let us decide; we would enter a property and he would review basics with us, give us any information he thought we might want to know about, and then left us to look around and make our own judgements. 4) You always had his full attention. 5) Once we decided, he moved quickly to bring the purchase to a successful close. 6) He followed up with us post-sale to make sure we got things taken care of; he wanted to know how we were doing, and if there was anything else he could do to help. While we have had other positive experiences with other realtors, we have never had that kind of follow-on work post-sale. We give Tom our enthusiastic recommendation.
